I'd have to be paid to watch the Naruto dub. Free isn't good enough. It isn't that I hate dubs, it's just that Naruto has a really awful one.
I subscribe to both Crunchyroll and Hulu so if some form of madness ever drives me to re-watch the series again I'd rather just do it there with subtitles. :P | |

Granted it's been like 10 years since I've watched the Naruto dub, but I really didn't think it was so bad. I'd have to go back and see it again to be sure. A lot of anime people have way higher standards for dubs than I do, though.

SInce we are talking about dubs. Death note dub = suckish, Bleach dub = suckish, both were amazing in the native language.
Dragonball Z, probably my favorite dub of all time but was better in the native language. | |
I can't stand Goku's voice in the original Japanese. That alone makes the English dub superior to me. The entire rest could be amazing, but Goku's woman voice is the stuff of nightmares.

AOT voices did not match the characters at all. I disliked almost every voice of each character they just didn't fit. DBZ has to be my far time favorite dub & naruto (nothing was wrong with the dubbed version to me.)

While we are on the subject, I can't decide my favorite dub.
The dubs I LOVE are: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Gurren Lagann Baccano! Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne Code Geass (Well...I won't say LOVE, but I did enjoy it.) Death Note (Same opinion as Code Geass) Dragonball Z (All in all, not a great dub, but nostalgia puts it up on this list.) Cowboy Bebop The dubs I cannot STAND: Elfen Lied Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni AoT's dub was...alright. I guess after watching the japanese dub as well as TeamFourStar's abridged version, the english dub just didn't...fit for me. I can't say it was terrible, though. | |
