rete if you will, not like i could put it into any songs. lol
(and yes, i know it's kinda violent. but such is the fate of all metal)

___

Name: The Demon's Will

(part 1)

In a land filled with nothing but hate and sorrow
The Demon will rise again
In a land where Demon's are hated
The Demon will return

The Demon has many desires
He brings chaos and uncertainty to those who follow
If you try to stop him, nothing is ensuring your safety

The Demon's Will is to eliminate all life
To destroy all life and recreate it for his own world
The Demon's Will isn't to help any life
It's to wreck havoc and bring chaos to all that oppose him

(part 2)

When the brave soldiers tried to battle the Demon
It ended brutally
When the Demon was victorious, the apolocylpse was near
There isnt much time...

(last part)

Once again he tries to destroy all life
Yet this time his will is broken

The Demon has many desires
He brings chaos and destruction to anything in his path
If you attempt to stop him, you'll die

The Demon's Will is to destroy all life
To bring an end to everything in existance
The Demon's Will is to break everything apart
To make sure nothing is in tact.
Someday, the Demon will be stopped
That's, like, Spinal Tap-heavy, man. Dude, when anyone plays that they should crank it up to eleven.

Right along the lines of Pink Torpedo. ::devil horns with his fingers::

:P well i've basically been listening to power metal past few years, it grew on me alot.
This is meaningless. It has no rhythm, at least none that I can detect.

EDIT: fixed grammatical error
It's hard to read when you have so many tense-shifts in there.
No! No! NO!

Any good metal song has two have at least one solo, preferably three. I *suppose* you could put them between "parts". But a really good song should be built around the kick donkey solos.

You don't ever mention loss of sanity, which seems a natural fit for a song about the Demon. Also, references to the Dark Lord, fallen angels, and oblique HP Lovecraft references are all okay. Also, the song seems kind of short. I suppose some galloping guitar riffs and drum work could shore that up. Here is what I would suggest:

Intro Guitar Solo 1
Intro Guitar Solo 2
Verse 1
Chorus
Bridge- Guitar Solo
Verse 2 (transitional mid verse mini-solo)
Chorus
Interlude Drum Solo 1
Verse 3
Chorus
Drum Solo 2
Chorus
Chorus
Outro Guitar Solo

I assume you pictured this more Iron Maiden vocals than Cannibal Corpse, right?
