I would like to see who voted in what categories once I have put up a poll and I would also like to edit the categories and the questions.

The reason why I want it is if I made a typo and find it out after I post then I have nothing to do. Also if someone does change their poll to something like that is immature and I doubt anyone would care and would just stop looking at his or her blog.

Does that mean I can still use your "popeisfizzy likes men" poll-joke on my blog, then?

If you want, it is your blog.

That could work out, but whether that setting is enabled for that poll or not must be reflected on the page, of course.

From your reply, I think I didn't explain what I meant well enough.
When you're voting there could be an option to select if you wan't your name shown or not. That way, the voter gets to pick if they are shown or not. |
Bad idea.
As strange as it sounds, allowing people to see other's votes would only encourage folks to bully others into voting for them, whether through pwipes or verbal abuse. |

Ah; the option is "client"-side, decided by each voter. That would be nice, yes. =)

"As strange as it sounds", your argument is obviously bogus.

And it's common that people will torment others for their opinions, as is seen daily by both you, I and hundreds of others in the community. -- I believe, that editing polls would be a bad idea, and it would be abused to hell. I also agree with not showing who voted for what. If you're worried about making typos in your polls, double check before posting. And if you want people to know what you voted for, post a comment. |

Which is exactly why the argument is bogus and shouldn't be considered; theres no point in trying to prevent it that way, in polls. People can, and DO do it, either way, in polls and outside of em. |

Again, there is no point in trying, because it won't stop people being ridiculed. For the better or for the worse, there are things that will keep staying.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying.
Adding in these options will only lead to MORE ridicule. Thus, excluding them is a far better idea. The argument was not bogus, because what is said is the same thing I'm saying. Adding such options results in adding to more ridicule. Which is what the community doesn't need. |
What I originally ment by "See Who Voted" is allowing the blog owner to see who has voted. But I think there should be serveral options:
*Allow Community to See *Allow certain guild ranks to see *Or allow the blog owner to see. Now for the Poll editing, I think I should have the right to edit my poll as I do with editing my post. As I said before, for example, someone could create a post saying "do you like money, post yes here." Then many people will post and a few hours later the blog owner can edit it to say, "do you like men?" |

Seeing who voted isn't going to happen unless the person voting has a say in if their name is shown or not. Editing polls isn't going to happen, period. If you want to edit a poll you'll have to repost it.

Are you a human?
yes []
no []
So The Fizz Meister goes along. "Hey!", he thinks- "I am a human!". So he clicks 'yes', thinking this was entirely legit and totally not suspicious.
Later the sly Calus changes his poll to:
ARE YOU GAY
yes i am really gay []
NO OF COURSE NOT []
People who voted yes:
The Fizz Meister
And everyone points and laughs. The Fizz Meister, tormented by the homophobic oppression he receives from his peers, shies away from society and slowly sinks into obscurity. One dark night, lamenting his lost childhood, he attempts to overdose on children's cough medicine. He wakes groggily the next day in a hospital bed, greeted to the embarrassed faces of his parents.
"son i wish i had never given birth to you" says Father Fizz.
"What!?", Fizz replies.
"Yes, it is true. I am the first man to give birth to a little baby girl.", says his father.
"WHAT!?", Fizz replies (again).
"It is true. I had to lie and call you brother all these years", cries Fizz's sister (who is actually surprisingly hot, if not a little young).
So in the end Fizz accepts his femininity and lives happily ever after. The tragic irony of the story is that, of all the people who were labelled "gay" by Calus's fake poll, Ezrahchan wasn't.
I guess this wouldn't be a bad feature after all- seconded!
