I was trying to put up an argument, not in favor of a holiday, but what other U.S. event would deserve a holiday more than 9/11? Please realize this.

If you have a problem with me, please tell me what it is. In detail, maybe? So that your post isn't just a bare insult.

This thread is kinda about American holidays, i'd be kinda confused if I, as a Briton, were asked to have a moments silence on the 9th of September. This side discussion is covering other events in American history which caused a large enough loss of life to be considered a holiday.
