I have tried everything to get rid of this piece of malware. "Spyware Quaker 2.0" as the program is called simple will not go away. I booted into safemode manually deleted it, used several diffrent anti-malware in and out of safemode. When I uninstall it comes right back. (I used so far: Spybot, Adaware, Ewido, and AVG dosn't get rid of it) Any suggestions would be nice. (I was infected with MMSEARCH or w/e, but I am pretty sure that is gone, just this one piece won't go away.)

Before you wipe your harddrive, try everything- such as Windows Defender.

Remember, also, that programs can interfere with one another and their functionality. Try using one program at a time, uninstalling the ones that didn't work and installing a new one.

Use panda active scan online, and/or download bit defender free (on demand scanner only, makes a good back up). I would also try windows defender wich should prompt you to allow it which you can deny. you could also try dslreports cleanup fourm @ http://www.dslreports.com/forum/cleanup. The guys over there might have seen it before.
otherwise I can't find any information on that program, or files for it. If you can send me a copy i might be able to figure out how to remove it. |

Thats only true for real-time scanners like most AV's. However uninstalling and installing other programs can make a host of new problems. most anti-spyware programas can be ran as an on demand scanner which will not interfere with the others. You should only use one as a real-time scanner. |

I got the name wrong in the first post, it's "Spyware Quake". The strangest part is that it has some kind of thing in the system tray, that I can't kill it or anything and it starts up even in safe mode.
Edit: Found removal instructions: http://www.2-spyware.com/ remove-spywarequake.html?gclid=CPXmsczo-oMCFTcnGgodWi0Nhg |
