Ways to resume downloads?

I have dial-up, and I'm trying to download Adobe Photoshop CS2, but it takes 36 hours. Is there a way to stop the download, and restart it from the inital percentage complete?

You could buy it... OR use a P2P program...

Ugh. With P2P networking it takes 871 hours, 10 minutes, and 29 seconds.

Depends on what P2P software/networks you use. Also, it depends on how fast your connection is, of course.

Unless I'm mistaken, there are ways to speed up dial-up, right? I wouldn't know, but it's a guess.
