Wait? You are telling me that the older games arn't going to be free? As long as they arn't over 10cents for NES games...

No, they won't be free. I imagine the cost being small though, maybe one to four dollars? Also, I would like to point out that I still have all my SNES games and they all work =p

I know were talking about the revolution but i have like tons of NES games for my DS, homebrew is the way for portable console.
If you want to see what sort of homebrew is being brewn(pun intended) chuck a look at some of these websites http://www.scdev.org/forum/ (Supercard, the gba cart i use) http://nintendo-ds.dcemu.co.uk http://scummvm.drunkencoders.com (extremely awesome) |

They couldn't afford to give them away for free, but if they wanted to sell them individually they couldn't settle on a price that wasn't either too expensive or too cheap (it's not worth the transaction fees to charge $1 a game =P). |

I still play on my SNES and 64. I play Lylatwars (Star Fox 64, the PAL name). I play Ocarina of Time. I play Lufia. Shades is correct.

Remote Control(DVD control/TV Control Format)
Nintendo WiFi(Nintendo version of Online) Playback(Play old Snes games) I'm just not a fan of Nintendo, i never owned a handheld because i find them useless and a waste of money, Nintendo's ideas are "Quirky" even though i didn't call them that in my previous statement i said the fans and -Critics- called them quirky. =) |

I've never managed to get the medal for Area 6, and I suspect I never will. I have the medal for everywhere else, why must this level confound me?

Remote Control(DVD control/TV Control Format) Think more like a wireless mouse. Nintendo WiFi(Nintendo version of Online) Nintendo WiFi not only allows systems to link up and play games at home like Lan without the needs for routers or cables. But the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo Revolution will be able to connect to any WiFi enabled router to go online, for no charge except the cost of your ISP. Right now Nintendo claims that they plan on having their online games cost nothing to play online. Considering what a pain in the ass it is to hook more then 1 xbox up at a time, I think its a pretty damn good idea. Playback(Play old Snes games) What about it? You got the PS3 that can Play PS1,PS2 and PS3, you got the Xbox 360 that can play 360 and Xbox games, then the Revolution will allow you to play Nintendo R, Gamecube and over 10 years of different games. Thats not quirky, thats just plain damn smart. I'm just not a fan of Nintendo, i never owned a handheld because i find them useless and a waste of money, Nintendo's ideas are "Quirky" even though i didn't call them that in my previous statement i said the fans and -Critics- called them quirky. If you are refering to IGN or a 1up.com those guys are misinformed jackholes that I have always agreed with. I don't know what Nintendo fans you are talking to, because all of the ones I've talked to are talking like Nintendo has already pwned and buried Sony and Microsoft. |

You know its funny, because Nintendo's controller idea may very will revolutionize the gameing industry years from now. If the idea catches on, the years from now, it will be like a new standard in controllers.
Yet we all know, there will be Sony and Microsoft fans, sitting at home, listeing to their ipods, drinking their starbucks coffee and thinking about what jackholes Nintendo are. Nitendo pulled the gameing industry out of a slump, Nintendo had dominated the handheld industy for years. And no matter how many times a Sony Fanboy perdicts the fall of Nintendo, they always just show up with something new and even more intresting then their last creation. fact is, Nintendo has been in Buisness for a long, long time, since the early 60s I believe (I think they did casino slot machines and stuff before video games) and they have been in buisness this long. They know what they are doing. |

Please, don't categorize me as a "Sony Fanboy", because i'm not one. I support sony, but it doesn't exactly make me a Fanboy, nintendo -may- produce some -decent- handhelds which i don't buy, although i've tried out the SP, there has been too many handheld systems released on nintendo's part, GBA,SP,DS, now micro? I mean come on, you know how many people who get sucked into this hand held crap? HandHelds are just strictly a waste of many, but hey it would be nice to play a game on the go, wouldn't it? I wouldn't pay over 100 bucks to do so, though.

Actually, i do think the ps3 provides free online play, if i'm not mistaken.
I don't listen to IGN, 1up, or any of those sites. Basically, i watch G4tv, and maybe a tad bit of GameSpot, i go on the -Forums- and see what the fans think, and i also pay attention to what the critics say as well. |

I never called you one, I was simply stateing about Sony Fanboys.
Yeah, its clear I am a Fanboy of Nintendo, no denying it. But I like Sony. Hell I own a Sony PSP and a Nintendo DS. Why do I have them? Cause I can, thats why. I can afford to buy them. |

Well while I agree with what GameSpy has to say most of the time.. (You do know GameSpy will be part of the Nintendo DS WiFi Online games right?)
G4tv is one of the worst channels I have ever seen. Rarely do I ever agree with them. I throw them up there with IGN and 1up. |

Well, in your own right you can own a HandHeld i'm not bashing you for that i just don't see -why- people would pay +100 bucks for a handheld. >_<

I put it on in the background on occasions and it really is amazing some of the stuff they do. One of the review shows will do nothing but bash aspect after aspect of a game and turn around and give it a high rating come the end (Graphics suck, Gameplay sucks, Story sucks, Music/SFx suck, etc, etc. But we give it a nice 4 out of 5!). |

I suggest everyone read this, it makes alot of sense and explains quite a bit. It'll help you see Nintendo's Tactic and give some insight on the "game wars"

True but I'm sure plenty sales would be lost in the game trade area... Sony sees 0 profit from the sale of used games, so if you're talking about companies like Gamestop and the like, Sony doesn't really give a damn how good or bad they do. |

I seriously doubt that Sony would do such a stupid thing, i think that's just a false rumor. Where's the rumor? Sony has developed the technology that would allow them to do what the article says. The only question is whether or not they're going to use it. There might be rumors about it getting used or not, but don't doubt its existance. |
