Is there a site somewhere that I can learn the sims language? I checked the official site and googled it but the results were completely different from what I was looking for. It would be pretty funny talking to people in that language.
It's actually a language of complete gibberish (none of the words have any meaning), though I think that the Sims 1 site has some audio files of the two guys to 'invented' it talking and singing in it.

Yea, it's all gibberish. It would be far too complex to have every conversation mapped out. Though, with practice, you can make people think that you're talking in Simlish (or whatever it's called). I do a fairly good impression of the Sims.

I heard that if you have them talk in front of mirrors and stuff constantly, and build up their stats, they begin to talk clearly. At least that's what one of my friends told me. I haven't played The Sims in a while, so I don't know for sure.

It's supposed to just be gibberish with the intent to convey the feeling of the message rather than the message itself. Anyway there is some stuff on wikipedia on it.

Uhhh, try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simlish instead.

Err doh. I wonder how I copied the wrong link.

And there I was thinking you had made a witty, sarcastic joke about the jibberish of wikipedia. ;)
