When you edit a page, does it have to be accepted by someone before you can actually post a snippet?
No, Just edit the page and click finished when you are done :) Though usually if are editing a page and will leave a comment, don't forget to put a
before your comment (and MAYBE after).. it'll do this:
Heh

Yeah I tried editing the Newbie Qustions page and it just listed it at the bottom(Where I put it). So how would I make it a link to what you are trying to answer?

Ah I see, trying to make a new page huh?

The link to the new page must be a word with 2 cap letters in.. like instead of Character Customization it should be CharacterCustomization

When you do that, there should be a question mark beside it, click that and start editing the new linked page :X

It's html. Html strips out anything more than the first space. You could use tables,  s, or some other wepage-y thing.
