What do you think ,will the xbox360 be the next gen colson or will the PS3?

Microsoft are just going to do the XBox trick again and stick a Linux powered PC into a case and market it for 4x its retail value.
Microsoft even has a thumb in Apple's Pie (Ouch). It was recently found that Mr Bill owned the patent for the touchpad interface for the IPod, so Apple might have to pay M$ something like £6 for every IPod sold in the future, and for the 21,000,000 IPods in use at the moment. Kerching. | |
I don't like Microsoft or the XBox anymore than you do, I'm never going to buy one, but it still doesn't change the fact that the features of it are next-gen.
Actually, I would laugh then cry in joy if the XBox360 sunk worse than the regular XBox did, and forced them out of the gaming biz. I doubt it though. | |
I don't know which one I would rather get. Both have really good upcoming games I would want to get.
Xbox360 - Marvel MMORPG and PS3 - DC MMORPG There are a few other games, so I dunno. When it gets closer to the release date of the new systems people should get a better idea. | |
The thought of a console MMORPG rubbed me wrong since FFXI. Don't get me wrong, there have been some nice real time RPGs I played on them... just weird thought I guess. Anyhow, you'll have to tell us how it is.

Yeah, but that also was 2 years ago. I didn't play it for the same reason, that it was a console MMORPG, but also that was when the internet connection for PS2, came out I think.

They are right you know, the Xbox 360 is a net gen consle, just like the Sony PS3 and Nintendo Revolution is. Each will have its own ups and downs, its own pros and cons.
There is no consle war, except in the mind of the fanboys that freak out over this kind of crapola. I can just see it now, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo Excutives, taking to the streets with shot guns and swords, dukeing it out.. Haha. In any case, I wont be looking into a Xbox 360. I got a modded Xbox a year or so ago, and I wish I would have saved my $350.00... I use more then half of my HD for emulators, and the rest for games. Out of the entire Xbox Consle selection, I like like a whole 4 or 5 games. Not only that, it makes me sick and how many 3rd party titles Microsoft will let people get away with. Yeah, people try to use sex to sell games, but have you seen the slew of poorly done A-Rated games on the Xbox? There are alot, and all of them suck, and the only value is the digital nipples, which I can just get for free anyways. At least Sony has been able to feed my hunger for better fighting games and role playing games, while tossing in a FPS that I find suits my very picky tastes. Meanwhile, Nintendo always has my vote, the only system that ever let me down was the Nintendo 64, and even that was a blast to play at times. They just make some of the funnest games I have ever played. I think.. consles are sold more as a image, and thats how the players see it too, which is wrong. It isn't about looking, acting or being more mature, its a game, and the most important part about that is having fun, not going for the most adult orinated system possible, which alot of the new generation of gamers are going for, which makes me want to vomit. I think gamers like I, are a dying race. | |
Lmao you see all the specs ps3 gave out most of them are false.im rooting fro xbox and nitendo all the way sony have lost ;) also the only reason you go for play station cause its sony and they know that you bitches will pay >.<.

It's pretty bad for guys like us who want to play games with more than just face value, but why is it a console designed to appeal to the mass markets is considered wrong? The Playstation proved that people who don't play games still want consoles. Why should a company that makes consoles aim them at the minority when they could do less work and make more by aiming at the majority? Although that's not to say I like the idea of games being based around shock value and cheap gimmicks. | |
There's no way you could force Microsoft out of the gaming business...they're only there because they want to take over. I doubt Bill Gates cares if he loses 0.00001% of his vast empire. :p
