hi tech pannel and mini map

can some one help me go about making a hi tech pannel on the players screen and a mini map in the right top conner and a small image of the player in the left ?

do i need bitmaps or icons >?<

This sounds like it belongs in Classified Ads.

Whatever you want. Bitmaps will probably be faster, but possibly less functional.

I can make you a one tile minimap if thats what you want but you'll have to name the colours for each tile yourself.
