My new job!

Yay! I've got a new job working at a Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth dealership. It's great stuff, I'll be starting out as an hourly paid apprentice @ $8.50/hr as a full-time employee with benefits. I'm a mechanic now. Yay!

Im about to work at the PetCo for $6.25 starting and in a month it will goto $6.50. :) ( I am about to turn 15 )

Yes, it is. Especially in 3 months, I'll be up for promotion - depending on how well I do. That, and all the top mechanics that work there now are all making $80,000+/yr. And, they all started out the way I am now. Heck, one mechanic made $200,000+ last year.

I suppose i got lucky, the first job i got was last year when i was 18 and i was being payed $17.79 an hour. I worked whenevr i wanted and got to tell my bos show many hours i had worked... it was really really good but the job ended... I miss it so...

Hehe. I have a friend who just started a fulltime apprenticeship as a mechanic. He already knows a lot about cars and how they work and has often helped me with my car. ;) He's slowly teaching me - I learned how to change my front brakes the other week! Only problem I had was the bloody bleeder valves (trying to get compression when you put your breaks on). Anyywaayyy.. yay for mechanics. :)

Edit: Guh. One too many fulltimes in that there first sentance!

That's because, bleeding your brakes is a two man job. =P

Indeedly. Hence Floyd got me to pump the hell out of my brakes. He then opened the bleeder valves - or something like that, I can't quite remember. :) Ooh, I'm so going to be harassing you when my car doesn't work. Hehe. ;)
