ERm, I have a question about Counter Strike for the PC, I have pretty much all the requirements for it met, except for 1 thing... a GeForce graphic card. I have a good graphics card, but it doesn't matter.. Anyway, what it does, is when I try and click Play, the game just shuts off. It wont start the game, I tried reinstalling it, and nothing happened. I am guessing it has to do with my graphics card... Are there any patches or so that I could download for it that will support extra graphic cards? My graphic cards name is SiS M661MX (Chip type: SiS 661FX Rev 01, DAC Type: Internal, Total Memory: 32.00 mb.) Help me? >.>
32MB of ram on the card? That is extreamly low. You might be able to update the drivers for it, try going to the makers site.
If you go to video settings there should be the choice of 3 different renderers, first Try software rendering (Which should always work on any setup) then openGL and finally DirectX. I've had problems with openGL rendering before, years ago, but I believe that's the default so see if they help.

Before I get into all that (I have to reinstall the damned 3gb thing), is the graphic card the problem in the first place? I believe I had a couple extra errors on the list, I don't think they were serious ones. Guess Ill get started downloading it again...

I dont see a choice of 3 different renderers in the video settings. By video, you do mean the Video option with the list of Sound and Controls right?

[edit]
It says that I am missing the Required pixel shader support, 64 mb video memory, and d3dr5_colorwriteenable support.

How much does it cost to get the video memory upgraded? >.>

Your talking Counter strike source? then, well then you need a better video card, probably.

Heh, yeah. If it's CS: Source, you definitely need a better graphics card. =)
