Me and my friends are constantly arguing about this, escpecially after teh new Batman flick. In MY opinion, batman would beat da crap out of Spiderman:

But what if Batman had a pathological fear of spiders? Or perhaps Spidey had one for bats? Or perhaps both?... What then?

how could he do that? Batty has no superhuman strength- Spidey could pick him up with one hand and bash him *through* a wall.

Of course he would say that, but what if they were secretly afraid? Who doesn't keep their fear secret to prevent people from using it against them?
Perhaps this is the case and a battle between them would just result in two blubbering masses, both too afraid to move, speak or even run away? | |
I think Batman's afraid of women. Jk. This is awesome. My two favorite superheroes. I think spider man would win. He could just yank of Batman's utility belt (YAY ^.^) with his webbing.

I think it depends on the playing grounds. If the two of them were to meet on a street, neither knowing the other before hand and both were to engage in combat my money would be on Spiderman. If they both knew who their opponent was, and had time to formulate a plan, my money would be on Batman. I mean, what would Spiderman do if Batman came in his jet? Web it?

Actualy, batman is really afraid of bats. If you have seen the movie, or the cartoons, or read the comics, you would know that. He dresses up like a bat so the evil people will share his fear. I say spidie would win. Batman has lots of gagets, but spiderman is super fast and has webbing. Perhaps batman could put a protective coating on his suit to prevent sticking, but spiderman could still out manuver him. Spiderman fights other people with super powers, batman fights men in tights and makeup. See the diffrent?

people people we are forgetting sumthing spidy lives alone with hardly any money and ya he can web and stuff but batman has a car,a jet,robin,money,and skill no powers just skill if he is gonna lose batman could pay his way out. BATMAN WINS lol

Spiderman is loveable- heroic but clumsy. People endear to him, he can't die/lose fighting Batman for financial reasons. The public love his boyish charm!
At worst, he'll get beaten the first time but through random chance/luck he'll find a way to beat batman, or batman will come to his senses and commit suicide, like that Octopus guy did. Stupid morals. | |
There is absolutely no way of answering this question. There is a reason why there have been no movies with superheroes versus other superheroes. First of all, good does not fight good, but if that was not the case it would be because all superheroes are undefeatable. If they somehow came out with a movie about a superhero versus another superhero then it is up to the writers to choose who will win the battle. Every superhero has his or hers advantages and disadvantages, strengths and weaknessess, and there is no right or wrong answer here. Whoever you like best is in your mind, the victor.

Im a fan of spider-man, I dont know why. Spider is sweet he actually gots powers other then batman, all he did was see a damn bat, and all of a sudden he thinks hes super natural. Batman sucks, spiderman can spin webs, climb walls, and beat the crap outta batman. Face it, spider-man owns.
