For the newbie coders who don't know what sites you can host your files on when your game is complete so people can play them, here are a few:

- http://www.freewebs.com/ - My favorite, its free, and has lots of features.

- http://www.geocities.com/ - I dont like this one very much, but im sure it does have its pluses.

- http://www.angelfire.com/ - Im not sure if I got that one right (The url) , It is an okay hosting site.

- http://www.tripod.com/ - I used to use this a long time ago before I found freewebs, I havn't seen it in a while, it may not let you upload files, but you can look and see.

There are many more, but those are a few that I think are pretty popular, Freewebs, in my opinion, is the best.

Yup - This is a good one. In fact, this is the only good one. Geocities, Andgelfire, and Tripod simply don't work for file-hosting.

Yip, it is:

"[You are not allowed to:]

Create and maintain a Lycos Network web page (including, but not limited to, an Angelfire or Tripod home page) that (i) redirects to another web page or (ii) stores or hosts content for remote loading by other web pages. For example, you cannot create a Tripod home page, post pictures to the Tripod home page, and have other web pages call the Tripod home page page to retrieve those pictures." -- Lycos TOS

As long as it's not an other web page, hopefully it'll be okay.

They lock it. So, basically ban.

It's not being banned.

It's the concept of being truthful and honest rather than cheating behind someones back.

Well, technically - it doesn't say you CAN'T access the information VIA BYOND. >_>
