Thats not really fair to compare it to a BYOND game.

I was thinking it looked like a halflife mod, and then I read it was.

It really isn't fair at all.

It IS real. He didn't mean Half-Life mod as in a photo edit; it's a game that uses the Half-Life engine to run. Go to the root URL where that photo is, http://www.esforces.com

It's still real.

As a matter of fact, Half Life itself is a Mod.

Games like half life are built around a graphics engine. The graphics and the script interpretation is pretty much the only theing that is hard coded.

I thought that got closed down ages ago because of legal threats?

It doesn't actually look too bad for a DBZ game. Though there's no way I'm downloading 100 megs just for that. =P

You're thinking of Bid For Power. The license holders said you can't publish your game. So instead what the BFP people did they changed the graphics but pretty much kept the same system lol.

You ain't seen nothing yet. That ESF game, compared to Specialists, is like PONG! Specialists, jumping around Matrix style, collecting slowmotion powerups.

* Slowmotion Power ON [5 seconds slowmotion] *
* BANG! BANG! BANG! *
* Doooooooogggggeeeeeeeeeeeddddddd........... *
* BANG! *
* Right in the face, next to a person! Person starts to fall backwards real slow.....*
* Slowmotion Power OFF [please get another powerup. thank you for using this.] *
* The guy who was shot in the face slams against the floor *
* Guy shoots other guy *
* BULLET TIME! *

I have both games. And I've got Half-life. And a CD-Key. Yes'm.

Also, in case you haven't noticed, you CAN transform on ESF. AND all of the attacks have sounds (unlike BYOND...), AND it's pure ACTION, and it's got Dragonballs and if you summon the Dragon then everybody is fighting and all of the sudden they see a huge green Dragon pop up out of the sky!
