Spiderman has the power but Batman have the money and "The Gears" lol. Batman wouldn't be known if it wasn't for his gears.

No contest. Batman would PWN Spiderman.
Batman can counter or minimize all of Spidey's powers, and easily bring the web-slingerr down. Spidey's Webbing: Batman can create a chemical to disolve it. He's a scientist too. Spidey's Wall-Crawling: Bat-lube. I doubt Spidey could cling to walls that are covered in oil. Spidey's Strength and Agility: Batman is no weakling. He's well trained in jujitsu, aikido and other martial arts forms. He's also got techs to boost his armor and strength, bringing the two to a more level playing field. Spidey's Sense: I'm sure the old bat could come up with something to either counter this, or to negate it. Spidey's sense is not complete; he couldn't detect Venom. Also, Batman is not one to inflict harm to his opponents needlessly. Heck, most times he can defeat an enemy just using pure defense. Setting up a scinereo that does not put Spidey in danger, but still gives Batman the upper hand would most likely be Batman's main strategy. Also, this is another place where Batman's martial arts training comes into play. The art of the ninja (Batman is ninja) is all about not being detected until it's too late. Alot of this has to do with quieting your mind and removing intent so that your actions are pure and calculated, and you don't expose yourself. A bit of meditation might be enough to land Batman a few good hits and secure victory. And don't underestimate Batman's deductive skills. His mind is a like a steel trap. If he doesn't know Spiderman's identity, he can find out. I'm not saying he'd stoop so low as to kidnap Aunt May, but he could easily catch Peter Parker in a situation where he couldn't use his powers or he would be revealed. A bit of knock-out gas, and Spidey's out. Also, if Batman wanted to play some head-games, he could emulate all of Spiderman's abilities and powers, including the sense and strength. That might be enough to throw Spidey off his game, as it's not everyday he has to battle himself. Sure, Venom and Carnage were tough, but they are not the brightest of opponents. Batman rules. Fear the bat! PH34R H1M!!1!!!!1!!1!1!one1!!11lolomgwtf |
Batman routinely kicks the superstuffing out of Superman in their semi-annual grudge matches. Spider-man is one of my favorite characters... I like him better than Batman, but this wouldn't even be a contest.
Spider-man is a fairly powerful (by Marvel standards, anyway) superbeing who fights the losers of the supervillain world. Batman is a human who manages to fight the deadliest, most vicious psychopaths plus all sorts of god-like alien beings (when he moonlights in the JLA). Every other core member of the JLA would be a cosmic being by Marvel's standards... and he's beaten all of them multiple times (Wonder Woman being the only one who's ever really returned the favor... as a consumnate warrior, she's willing to fight at his level.) Really... what kind of challenge would Spider-man offer? |

Really... what kind of challenge would Spider-man offer? Spider-man would ALWAYS win, at least, at the end of the film, unless it's a cliff hanger. And then he'll win in the sequel. The Spider-man film franchise is far too successful to even let the writers have the idea of "Spider-man losing" enter their minds. They get shot otherwise. |
Although I much prefer Spiderman, as Batman is a spoilt little rich man, Batman would win every time. He just has too many gadgets. If Batty wanted he could climb walls, fling out steel wires to swing out and such. With Batty's armour (cheat!) he pretty much equals Spiderman in strength and endurance, and although Spidey is slightly more agile, Batty isn't far off his standards. So apart from agility, Batty has every advantage.

If you think about it...Batman has no weaknessess. I mean, I do not know much about these superhero people, but as my time when I was a little kid I remember watching the Batman cartoons. What is his weakness? Does he even have one? I mean, even the almighty Superman has one, that crystal thing, I forget what it is called though. What does Batman have? I dunno'. I mean, his car can do everything for him, plus he's got that cool belt with all that crap in it. Press the middle and poof, a chocolate milkshake. Or maybe strawberry. I dunno'. But, what is his weakness?

Actually, Batman is prone to suffering crippling flashbacks in the neighborhood his parents were killed, or when he sees Robin in mortal danger (he's already lost two of them)... but not having a weakness isn't really the deciding factor here. Spider-man doesn't have a weakness, either, and he has super powers.
Batman would still win, but it's got less to do with his gadgets and lack of an "Achilles' heel" than it does with who he is. |
If you've read Frank Miller's Dark Knight series, you'd know that Batman would win.

Spider Man would win! If he couldnt win by force, he would shoot Batman in the eyes with web, kick him in the balls and run.

Spiderman WOuld win. You ask how? Here's how
-Spiderman Webs Batman over and over to tie him up. He punches him like 20 times making sure he's Knocked out. Then he strips him down to his Normal Clothes He then Webs him back up,Then he webs up to a VERY high building and Drops Batman to a very Evil death. So now Batman=owned |

Spider-man wouldn't do any of those things. You might as well say Batman would win because he'd use his atomic fire breath and his living buzzsaw hands.
