Over the past few days I've been making a habit of checking out live every half-hourish for a few hours a day and running checks on any FanGames I haven't checked out a few times already. So far I've surpressed piles of DBZeta games. Your one is not the first and is definantly not the last. Dantom why do you keep zooming in on me? Originally we weren't zooming in on you. Your game contained DBZeta material so we surpressed it. Your game was on the live list while we were checking games and it happened to get busted. You've reposted a few times (after being officially told not to) so now we actually have to keep an eye on you. We don't enjoy doing this. It takes time away from us that we could be spending cleaning the hub or reviewing games for the official channels. |
Well ic....
Hmm I guess in that case I should thank you huh? Well THANK YOU, and sorry to be a pest but I hate to tell you guys... You may stop my game but there will always be one Zeta Rip on the HUB somewhere... Oh yea and can I just ask how do you deteremine if a game is a Zeta RIP? I mean what do you just look at the Icons or map because if so the only thing I've ripped is the map from Majins and Mystics... Most of the Icons I made with the excepetion of a few lol... anyway I jusy though I'd ask... |
First of all, inspect the game then supress it. You look simply at the HUB entry. Do your job correctly, or don't do it at all. I have rights to the Zeta parts in my Dragonball Online "Zeta" game, I even declare it has some zeta content in it. I sent a support request about 2 weeks ago and haven't recieved a reply.

They DO login. Don't assume they just look at the hub entry. DarkView does a very tedious job that very few want, or dare to do. He HAS (noted by Dantom's policy on it) to login, notate everything that's wrong (stolen graphics, sounds, donate button, etc...) in the game. Even if he finds one thing that's incriminating, he has to keep on looking for more...to make sure he's got everything documented. |
Excuse me? Nothing is stolen, all the things in Dragonball Online "Zeta" I have rights to, therefore it doesn't go aganist his policy and isn't doing his job right.

Refer to DarkView's statement above.
"Your game contained DBZeta material so we surpressed it." I think that says it all. |

This could be icons, source code, maps, etc. The term rip is basically anything stolen/used without permission. |
Why don't you just rid off all the Dbz Games, Since Most of em if not All of them use Zeta icons or Coding in one way or another....
And if that happened the Only games would be left would be LOTD and Clan |
Care to name names? DBZ Savages DragonBall Beyond DBZFusion Dragonball GT-=Never Ending Ch Dragonball Tatakai Dragonball Thunderx -=Ultimate Z=-Reborn Dragonball Blast Dragonball Chronicles I could go on............. |

Hell, it couldn't even be raekwon, right? Wouldn't it have to be Dracon, because it was his code that was ripped?

Depends, when i was developing a game and used the zeta male i was told to contact rae since he was given full rights to the game so i believe youd contact him now instead of good ol' dracon. |
But, the original source was Dracon's, and thats the source floating around the community. So Rae may have rights to the game itself (continuation, updates, etc) but I doubt he has rights to the released code.

He has the right to.. i contacted dantom associates about this link: http://developer.byond.com/hub/Alatar/Zeta2anewagegamecode They said it was raekwons alt key and he had full rights to do whatever he wanted with the source code. |
That's not the original zeta code. That's Rae's version of it. The code going around the community is the old code. Which, if they're gunna rip, they should at least use Rae's code because it must be better than the original code >.<

Dracon gave the rights to Raekwon, so now Raekwon has all the rights to it, and Dracon has none, since Dracon didn't let him "rip" it, he let him HAVE the entire game.
It'd also be pretty hard for Dracon to administrate that if it were him, with him being perma-banned and all, for creating a rogue game which was posing as another. |
