I was just at my uncles today, and he uses KaZaa Lite. He said hes smart, and he goes to options, more options, and check a box that says "Other users can't view your files" or whatever is next to the check box. He's been doing that for quite a while, and never got caught. I saw the same instructions on a website, too. Is this true? Can you acuatlly download music and movies without getting caught by the RIAA?

Ha, i have been using kazaa way befor it was the cool thing to do. But i rarly use it anymore, and i dont use it to steal a bunch of music from artists i like, i only use it to get songs that arnt on cds, such as stand up comity.

The rule that they made that you cannot download music illegaly didn't effect anyone. Everyone still uses Kazaa, and they will probaly never catch everyone.

It did stop many, many people. Incase you haven't noticed, finding a song/movie/program is a lot harder than it used to be. Any you are right, they wont catch everyone, does that make it legal? Look at the riots of califonia, they didnt get everyone involved in that, mainly because it was impossible, but did that make it legal? Hell no. Using kazaa to get songs/movies/programs illigaly is no diffrent.

Yes, everyone knows Kazaa is illegal. But people have found a way to not get caught. It's like saying "Screw the RIAA, let me download 200 gigs of music!".

I wouldnt say that, the best way to not get in trouble with the RIAA is to not share and files, nor download any files that are not public domain.
