(topic references [link])
I've wavered on this for several months, so finally I've decided it's time to **** or get off the pot (so to speak).
As I've gotten more involved in the development of BYOND, I've started to feel kind of silly using "Air Mapster" as my name when dealing with official BYOND business. It was always just a stupid joke name among friends, for the purposes of a silly website and all around good fun. When I first came to BYOND, I decided to use that name since I'd already been using it in other contexts involving certain members of Dantom. It was fine for my game development ventures and general participation in the community, but I felt like I should use something more "serious" (maybe serious is too strong a word; perhaps "normal") for official stuff.
So, from now on, I'll be using this key for most of my business here. Actually I wanted to get "Mike" (we already have Dan and Tom) but that was already taken. It hasn't been used in over 4 years, so I could have just taken it over using my 'leet admin powers, but I don't want to start that sort of precedent. If you create a key, it's yours for life unless you willingly give it up. I emailed the guy about it, but never heard back. So, "Mike H" it is.
I'll continue to use Air Mapster as my "primary alternate" key, and certainly for any BYOND creations that I may have time to do. But otherwise, just call me Mike.

I'll continue to use Air Mapster as my "primary alternate" key, and certainly for any BYOND creations that I may have time to do. But otherwise, just call me Mike. It will take some time to get used to "Mike H", but I'll try. It's probably about time I started using a more "grown-up" name myself. I will discontinue using "Gughunter" and return to using my original BYOND key, "Mike". (Just kidding!) | |

Heh, most people call me Danial(No that isn't a typo), but some call my Loyed because they say I look like Loyed Christmas from Dumb&Dumber. But I think ether as a key would look stupid. Scoobert works, as does Nadrew.
