Does anyone know of a software that can format CD's?

CD-Rs can only be written to once, thats quite obvious. You cant format a CD-R, you need a CD-RW for that.

CD-R's can have multisessions, which means you can write multiple times onto a disk, but you cant delete anything on them.

Which means you can't format them; I never mentioned multi sessions.

please quit barking about "you can't do this" or "you can't do that", how about helping the guy instead, eh?

Nero Burning ROM did have the ability to format CD-RWs at one time. Do not know if that is still the case. (It was called InCD I think)

Are you sure you mean "format"? As in "erase content already burned on a CD"?

I did help him, I told him that CD-R's can not be formatted, I also told him that CD-RW's can be.
