Doh! I get my permit in 6 weeks and my liscence about 2-3 weeks later, only 8-9 weeks :) Dang. Once I passed driver's ed. I had to take 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. Then I could get my permit, and you have to have your permit for 6 months before you can get your license. That is usually no problem, but I am a year old for my grade, so I got my permit well after I turned 16, so I had to wait until the September after my birthday, which is in June, to get my license. And, when you are 17 you can only have one other passenger (except if they are family members or they are over 21 and have been a licensed driver for 3 or more years) and you cannot drive between midnight and 5am. Hmmm, this story wasn't supposed to be that long, oh well =P |
Ah, someone else who is from Texas (I think... that's the same law that applies in Texas). Texas, where everyone rides a horse(or so people think) because the state government won't let you drive for a very long time.

I'm 21, and I haven't even applied for my driver's license. Is it "cool" to have your driver's license or something? We have a problem with STREET RACING here. I'm not planning to get up and on the road any time soon.

No... I just don't like having to rely on my parents to drive me everywhere, problem is I still will until I get my car.

Isn't english, the language, not capitalized? The English people are capital but the english language is lower case. I think...

I wouldn't say either, since the English language didn't come from the United States... incase you didn't notice, English - England.
