i played it and to put it bluntly...it sucks...bad...i would rather play my copy of mortal kombat deadly alliance than that piece of trash...they just used the dbz license to sell the product...

And they got you to buy it. All companies are out to make money, because that is what companies do. Maximize profit, minimize expenses.

i didnt buy it i rented it...big difference 5$ to 60$ if your a big fighting game fan you wont like the game if your a dbz fanboy then have fun playing your crappy fighting game.

I cannot wait to play Dragonball Z: Budokai. I know I will love this game because it won't be a shallow and over-rated game such as Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Street Fighter, or Dead or Alive. It actually follows a plot and has tons of little goodies. The only fighting game that looks better than this right now is Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance... But think about it - if Mortal Kombat removed all of the blood and fatalities, would people still buy it? In my opinion, I doubt they would. But, hey, that's just my opinion.

you couldnt be more off...dbz is the shallow over rated game and all those games you listed followed a story line from all of their predecessors and street fighter games were neat because they included characters and stories from capcoms final fight series such ad cody being an inmate for fighting too much after he saved metro city for the last time.

since people get into them and want to know the background of the characters you choose or in other words no stories = no fmv's or endings.

I don't buy games for FMVs, and they don't need and ending if they don't have a story. I'd buy a console RPG for a story, not a fighting game. And I'd buy a fighting game for its action, not an RPG. Not every game needs a story; Street Fighter 2 was a good game, but I like it for its action, not story.

Just because I am a 'fanboy' doesn't mean I or any other 'fan-addict' of DragonBall Z will dislike the game. I also like, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and many many other fighting games too, to be very honest with you I don't have a favourite fighting game because I like them all. With a few exceptions; I dislike Virtual Fighter because I don't like the mobility of the characters. To me they seem rather slow-moving. (Virtual Figther 4 I think is the game I played which seemed to have slow-moving characters... Attacking-wise). Anyway, just stop the arguing. You dislike DragonBall Z: Budokai, other may seem the same, but I for one like it and many others like it also. So, lets put an end to this and take it all in that just because you dislike it doesn't mean everyone else will dislike it also. --Lee | |
A great fighting game is defined by its story. All the best ones will have some sort of twist they throw in at the end. Like in the Powerpuff Girls game for N64, just when you think you've won, you have to battle Him for the soul of Mojo Jojo. It just doesn't get any better than that.

It's called Chemical X-Traction, or something like that. It's a fighting game with semi-3D environments. I got a slightly used copy for $12 last year.
