Ain't-It-Cool News reports that SciFi has decided not to air Farscape season 5, meaning that after the end of season 4 (coming back in January), the show will be off the air. This is urgent, because they're destroying the sets on Wednesday (September 11, ironically).

The article on AICN offers contact info for the SciFi channel's top management, and suggestions on how best to be heard. Faxes and priority overnight mail are the recommended approach, since suits give a lot more attention to snail mail than e-mail.
If you're a fan of the show, please join me in writing (politely) to save it. I plan to print out and mail my letters tonight; it can't really wait.

heard of it but always shrugged it off as a childs show
I'd tell the idiot who made that show to stop making and smoke a blunt.

I'm not sure how you got that impression; the fact that the Henson company is involved means that many of the creatures are puppets, but that doesn't mean it's remotely a kids' show. It's actually quite a grown-up sci-fi, with a heck of a lot more mivonx than Star Trek or even Babylon 5.

Yea, the chick with the light colored hair is pretty hot, and showing quite a bit of skin, even if it's sort of blue....[EDIT] Errr, by posting this I was also showing some of the adult side of Farscape =), I myself don't hang around the "teli" long enough to watch anything.

Heh. You know the weird thing is, I think the actress looks better in costume. (...As if I'm picky.)
From Cinescape:

"A film script is being written now by the creators that be at The Henson Co., the producing house for the show, and creator Rockne O'Bannon is reportedly working on a script for an Japanese-style anime incarnation of the show."

I won't watch an anime Farscape. I can't express the depth of my loathing for the genre, and would be disgusted to see the greatness of Farscape reduced to such frelling dren.

Im attracted to Bif Naked and Drew Berrimore thats as far as it goes when it comes to big names, the others try to look good and that makes them look ugly, Bifs and Drews attitudes make them good people. So natural good looks and attitude are where it counts for me.

Last thing people need is whale fat lips, prosthetic nails, eyelashes that can peel bark off petrified wood, and [deleted] dripping computer parts.
