uestion about bmps that is still driving me crazy. I have a verry good idea for a game and this is one of the only things i dont know how to do:

change a large bmp with a click into another icon.

Also, would someone please give me a detailed tutorial on block()

the new icon datum(?) should help you here. I think the beta html page in the download page tells you about finding out the locations of each part in a bmp image. The bmp image is cut up into several icons with different icon states, with a predifined way of naming those icon states for each part of the bmp.
