That slacker editor doesn't work on weekends, it seems!

I bet Ed Asner worked on weekends.
Sites which update every day are usually ones with larger industries or whatever to report on.

Some sites have tool updates and comparisons. For BYONDscape, there is only one tool to speak of and updates for BYOND are only a closely-tied link way.

Some sites speak of games being made. If BYONDscape were to go this route, it could be featuring more babble about games made by others than about how to make them yourself. (Mind you, I like "Postmortem" style articles.)

If I understand correctly, what makes BYONDscape valuable is the information on how to make games and the tools to do so. Those things take time.

I've found the updates rather good from the outside actually. (I'm po. I can't even afford the 'or'.) When a week passes with no updates, then start to worry.

Of course, someone with time on their hands at BYONDscape could always go the bad joke per day route. :)

Make an article. Make a game review. Make a complaint (but remember the BYONDscape policy -- no mentioning fan games in a bad sense (and we'd like to discourage a good sense too, I think)).

Make a website. Make a game. Make a contest. Anything you think is mention-worthy in BYONDscape can be added to BYONDscape.

E-mags don't only have game design gripes, you know.

Yep. (Though I think the term "e-zine" is more common.)

In general, the BYONDscape policy will be updates throughout the week, and the weekends off. If we start getting boatloads of good submissions, that might change, but for now, we only have a handful of people submitting stuff!

That'll change soon. I'm getting bits of stuff finished up, including my own webpage, as well as libraries, snippets, tutorials, and documentation. =)
