Hello,

I hope this is the right forum to post this.

I'm currently developing a new TCG and I'm wondering what kind of TCG people are looking for. I mean : are you interested by a medieval-fantastic based TCG? etc....

If you can give me some ideas it can be great and I can adapt my game.

Thanks in advance,
Joe
Okay well I'll leave you with a question. When James Cameron created Avatar, did he go to a small website far out in left field and ask them what type of Movie they wanted?

People don't know what they want, it's a fact.

P.S If you want to make a TGC but can't even think of a simple idea for one then there is a gigantic issue to start with...

He had one simple idea, he's just asking people what they'd like to see to know if he should follow through with the Medieval Fantasy idea or not. I think it sounds pretty cool.

Medieval Fantasy is a fairly broad topic... Maybe if he narrowed it down to statements like I dunno...

"I was thinking there would be 2 opposing sides...etc etc etc"
If it's not too much work, I'd like to see you incorporate the TCG into a real or even turn-based strategy game. There is a game called Battle Forge where you use cards to summon units and monsters to fight your opponents in real-time and a 2D version of it on BYOND might not be a bad idea.

Hi,

Yes I have already some ideas and it's just to have another opinions. Actually I'm developping Old Egyptian TCG.

I'm also developping a flash game to play/test the game but as I said all ideas/opinions are welcome (just to know what people are looking for...).
It's not a good idea to survey a community and ask them what kind of game they want, because if by some off chance they all ask for a type of game you don't want to make, then you'll probably get fed up with the project.

Just make the project the way YOU want it, and if it is good enough, it will get players, and possibly get people to share your interests.
