Well I've just purchased a PS3 for an awesome deal, I paid:
£284.99 = $464.82
For:
PS3 Console,
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves,
Fifa 10
Now I'm really enjoying this console, almost all of my friends own a PS3 and it's really fun to play online, this is by far my best bought console.
Anyhow, this post wasn't written to create a flame war about how good the PS3 or XBOX is in comparison to each other.
The reason why I posted this was to ask if you guys knew of any other games that I should purchase for the PS3.
I already have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Socom: Confrontation in-mind, what other good games are out there which I may like, I know you guys don't know the type of games I like but I don't really know what to tell you, I can like any game, I don't have a genre-specific choice.
Thank you in advance.

The Ratchet and Clank series is pretty good if you like platformers and the Batman game seems pretty good based on the demo.

LBP is a must for PS3 owners and um... That isn't a very good deal.
PS3's are like 250$ I think, that means each game that came with was ~105$. |

PS3's are 300$ in the US, then add 60 for each game, and tax (we'll say 10%, I have no clue what the tax is in this case), and you have about $462.

360's are 300$ too? I'm quite sure they're 250$ or less. I know for a fact they both cost the same.

PS3's are $300. 360's are $250. You are $wrong.

Of course the 120GB would be 300$. Isn't there ones lower?

Not if you're getting the slim.

Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed II (when it comes out). Burnout Paradise. Skate 2. Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII (when they come out).

Thank you for all your recommendations :) I will definately do a bit of research on them to see if I like them or not...
Also, my PS3 came with a 250GB HDD, it is the PS3 Slim. |

You failed to mention that. 120GB would've been a ripoff with just two games for 466$ (and anything lower interms of GBs), but 250? That's a good deal.

Hard drive space is without any reasonable question the cheapest expense when it comes to computing. Anyway, I personally had a hard time using up my XBOX hard drive which was a 20. |
Forget Socom. Slant6 totally fucked it up. Demon's Souls is fun, if you're into RPGs. Batman Arkham Asylum is an awesome game and so is MGS4.

These are games I enjoyed on the Xbox 360 that are avaible on the PS3 as well:
BioShock Oblivion Batman: Arkam Asylum Ghostbusters And these are games I heard great things about I want to play on the PS3. I may get one during tax return seaon just for it: Little Big Planet |

Katamari is always a good choice. I'm going to have everyone play Damacy at my funeral.
