right i have icons tht i made for tai nin and gen logs all under one icon file trainlog<> i need to make it so i can also map the nin and gen logs as well aas the tai would anyone be able to give me the code or anyhelp

You don't know how to code in things to map? What's so hard about the below snippet?
obj/Training_Logs/Tai_Log
    icon = 'whatever.dmi'
    icon_state = "tai"

I can tell just by your original post. Things like "tai log" or "nin log" kind of give it away >_>

I also suggest you stay away from using ripped sources as your "DM Bible" seeing as they are absolutely terrible in the first place, and the fact that it isn't yours to begin with.
