There's hundreds if not thousands of distributions by now, which use dozens of different window manager; they have accumulated handfuls of different default fonts over the years.
So, I'll assume you just used Ubuntu or something with Gnome. Download this font zip, and extract all the .ttf files in the compressed folder into "C:\Windows\Fonts\" Then, go to Display Properties under the Appearance tab (Windows key + R , type "control desk.cpl,,2" , press OK) press the "Advanced" button and go through everything and change the fonts to "Bitstream Vera Sans." Modify the size to your liking, and away you go. ![]() ------------------------ The Googletrail: Application font: Sans 10 Document font: Sans 10 Desktop font: Sans 10 Window title font: Sans Bold 10 Fixed width font: Monospace 10 {source} "The other name is Bitstream Vera Sans Mono." {source} <Bitstream Vera Fonts> <Bitstream Vera Font Downloads> ------------------------ ~Kujila |
Do you mean the font rendering? The "smooth" look of the fonts? I don't believe Windows supports that type of font rendering.
