I noticed you added the .bat file to trace a game with the pager. I was hoping you could add a command line argument to the linux DreamDaemon to do the same. Since the bug i want is Linux exclusive and i dont have direct access to linux (only command line).

Thanks.
Really i wouldn't bet on that happening very soon hell they didn't even put dreamseeker in the 4.0 release of Linux but i guess it does say Linux Server.

I wonder if we could club some C++ dudes together, and offer some help. BYOND is hoping to be more Community oriented, after all. =P

Yeah, I think that's do-able. I'll take a look when I get a chance.

Tom why doesn't the new version of the BYOND linux have dreamseeker its a bit odd.

The changes 4.0 included made compiling the Linux version of DS too much of a task to take on at the time (everyone was needing a Linux version of BYOND right then and there). Don't take my word on this (because it's not my department) but I'm not sure if there's going to be a new compile of Linux DS or not, it could just be too much of a pain to compile with too little pay off.

The interface elements in 4.0 don't work when there isn't a GUI.

I think its time to make a gui for linux my friend.

The release of 4.0 actually made a Linux GUI much less likely.

I was about to de-rail this thread, but decided to move it to a new thread instead: [link]
