Well Im not sure where to put this I searched the forums for topics like it an what not this is the best I found. I was looking for a place to submit a suggestion XD!
Anyway this one doesnt have anything to do with the client side of BYOND but the BYOND Members Side of BYOND.
I find it SO annoying myself to go an scroll down on my current front page to go looking for new comments because I dont want to miss any comments on any blog posts I make but unless you like remember the number of posts you got to open up each page to make sure you replied. So I was thinking why not make it a tad like forums now a days.
Example: Posted by Ac19189 on Thursday, June 07, 2007 12:58AM - 10 comments (is the current format)

That way we can see whos posted last an if we need to go reply or answer a question on a post. Im sure everyone might have a fix for it in there own way maybe like an email notify if the site even has that option but I dont want my email flooded with that crap because a spammer went nuts.
I think it would just make it easy on the people that open up there memebers page every now an then an run down it really quick. If I posted this in the wrong area let me know the currect area an ill go about changing it. XD

I dont want to know when people reply via pager though lol plus it seems more of a pain to me to be forced to watch every post I made with all honesty I only check thoughs comments an reply when I feel like it an its not to much of the time that I do it.
An I really dont wanna be bugged by it until then. Thats why I said the option would let people check it on the fly from the members page rather then being bugged or spammed by email or some other system ok I didnt say some other system. However if you did set it im sure you get spammed a good amount if someone picked to be annoying. Plus I check my members page at the library when Im out an about rather then come home an they dont let you run app's so <.< I was talking for fast access for the people that didnt want a go between. | |
The system shouldn't spam you if a spammer spams the spam-- err-- comments.
