Welcome to Earth!

Earth is the third planetary body caught in the gravitation well of a class G2V star (a self-sustaining hydrogen-helium fusion reaction) known as Sol or The Sun. The Sun's diameter is approximately 109 times larger than that of Earth.

The most notable attractions of Earth are the Eiffel Tower of Paris; the Great Pyramid of Giza; the Leaning Tower of Pisa; the CN Tower of Toronto; the Niagara Falls of Niagara Falls, Ontario; the Hoover Dam situated on the border of the states of Nevada and Arizona; the Mount Rushmore National Memorial near Keystone; Stonehenge near Amesbury; all of the aforementioned sites showcase the dominant species' ability to make use of physics to alter the landscape in a significant way.

The dominant species, humanity, is distinguished primarily into two genders, male and female. The difference in genders determines our method of reproduction, where a male and a female pair together for purpose of procreation; however, diversity in instinct and behaviour occasionally results in pairings of males and males or females and females, and due to humanity's technological development and intellectual awakening, the act of reproduction is now more of a recreational activity with actual reproduction a side effect.

There is no unified governmental body. There is a single national entity, the United States of America, which is more militarily and economically powerful than any other national entity when compared singly. There are, however, coalitions of nations, including the European Union and the United Nations, who have more military and economic power in combination than any single nation.

Many humans of Earth believe in a single superior being; the singular being is usually known as God, Allah, JHWH, or various other titles. Other cultures, such as Hinduism, believe in multiple superior beings, including such beings as Shiva, Ganesh, or Krishna; however, these multiple superior beings are sometimes considered different forms of the same superior being. Much of humanity's current political and intellectual discord arises from differing beliefs in the power and nature of this superior being or these superior beings.
