When I try to dowload byond 10 my anti virus detects a trojan virus (not a trojan horse)
and deletes all of the installment.

And this always happens when I try to dowload it and it is not one trojan virus it detects 4.

If you're getting it from BYOND.com it's a false alert. Get a new virus scanner.

Would be good if you gave us more information like your OS and what your virus scanner is.

I got it as well, but I have a good Virus scanner, and was able to get rid of it.

OS: XP Media Center addition

Virus scanner: AVG

Also, there seems to be a popup that pops up when you click the DL link, so I'm pretty sure It's comeing from the popup, opposed to the link It's self.

If your antivirus software is actually calling it a trojan virus, then you need to ditch it and get software written by someone who knows what they're doing. There's no such thing as a trojan virus. There are viruses and trojan horses; they are not the same thing.

The BYOND download does not contain a virus or a trojan. It sounds like your software is misconfigured.

You need to update the program or use something better. BYOND's installation does not contain a trojan.

I was thinking that some anti-virus programs might blacklist BYOND since that group called byond was going around hacking websites and etc they mght of blacklisted us :S.
Well, I researched into it, and at least 7 major anti-virus vendors are/were detecting Trojan.Hacktool.Prockill.A, Tool.Prockill, pskill in byond beta 10. All three are the same detection just different names.

I have sent an email to the vendors with a report, and a link to the download. With any luck this will all be cleared up shortly.

Disregard the poor advice about removing your anti-virus software, as false positives can and do happen.
