No matter what I try, I can't host the modified matrix file. I made it a DMB and the file gets unzip failed. I set all my files in a zip folder and that fails too. What do I do to host a file?

That is the file I'm hosting, so you can check it out.

Ok which hosting service are you using, Ex: www.freewebs.com/DarkEmrald/MyHostedFIle.zip
|
did you put all the files in a zip manually, which is what it sounds like youre saying, or did you build host files from dream maker...
|
I put it in a zip and hosted on Box.net. Then I copied the download URL and put it in where the download button is supposed to link to. I also tried the same thing for just the DMB and no image appears, just the Rogue style characters.

The problem is likely that you zipped up the files YOURSELF, and left out the .rsc file.
DreamMaker has a 'package files' option (Under build) that'll make the zip package on its own. |
The 'unzip failed' error message means BYOND couldn't contact the server to download the file, or it can and the server disallows hotlinking so it gives a dummy file with invalid content (usually a redirection webpage). Chances are the service you're hosting your files with doesn't allow you to remotely link to files for direct download.
