Zombies. I love zombies!!! Has anyone checked this game out yet? Coming out the 8th.

Lawnmower, golf club and ball, scythe, car, chair, umbrella, cash register, giant teddy bear, etc. So many weapons, so little time.
I've seen a video about this game on one of my X-box magazine discs. Apparently, even though there is a ton of moving active zombies on the screen it doesn't even lag. I thought that was pretty cool. Plus you get to use a chainsaw >_>

The only problem I see is that the cutscenes/voice acting seem kind of lame. But a lot of zombie movies do that. :P
The one reason why I even put a Xbox 360 on Layaway. It looks fantastic. Which is really funny because we were watching Dead Alive at my house and I was saying how they never made a GOOD zombie movie where its just guts guts guts, kill kill kill and that they needed to make one.

Then I got a game informer in the mail the next day with a ad for Dead Rising. YES! I went out the next day and put the delux Xbox 360 package on layway.

I love zombie movies so much but I cringed at House of the Dead. Especially the part where they rock 'n rolled it (as it is called) outside the house in the graveyard. I always decree that as the number of zombies you kill increases, your chances of survival drop expontentially. A big shot guy with the heavy MG in the middle of a field is going down quick, for example. Especially if you rock 'n roll it.

I have heard that there can be a lot of zombies, but all of the screenshots/promo videos I have seen have low detail zombies who are hardly moving. I am not impressed by it, graphicly, so far. The idea of killing zombie after zombie for the fun of it does sound... fun.

I agree with Shades. Dead Rising could be the only reason I get a 360.
Do you know if the gore is really realistic, considering the weapons system is so realistic? I have yet to see a game with as cool gore or more cool gore than Blood Rayne.
