The funny thing is that I have been consider switching over to Linux for a long time, but I don't want to install it to find out that half my games won't work in WINE, or something of that case.(I would dual boot windows and linux, but I only have a 40 gig in my PC right now and I would like to run linux off of a HD instead of a live CD or something of the sort.)

Yeah you know since Linux and Microsoft OSes are two diffrent products. Now if you put "At least all our utensils don't bend easily" that would of made more sense.Ah. Indeed. I didn't think of that, it does sound much better. I changed it. You make it sound as if I am talking about something entirely diffrent, when he was clearly taking a stab at Microsoft products. But we were talking about something different, weren't we? Just that we should be happy with what we had not crashing instead of arguing over tiny differences. I hardly see that as mounting an attack on Microsoft products. :-) |

They don't make it anymore? =(
I used to love it, it looked so awesome. And it had that dialup speedup thing. I never expected it to work, but it did. Somehow. I think it gave you less quality images or no images at all. It's what I first used, and I can't quite remember having any problems, but I was a little upset when my last computer didn't come with it. |

My computer has never crashed. It's actually more prone to feezing since I made a Linux partition, though Linux runs super fast. It may be the extra data usage or the fact that it can't read the master boot record, but it's been just a little slower.
No worries though, it's still way faster than my last computer. I can open up any program in the blink of an eye, and my new videocard allows me to play games (finally!) flawlessly. |

MacOS does crash. All the time. It's probably the worst OS I've ever used. That's not saying much, though. I've only used Windows 95, 98, and XP, Linux: SuSE and Ubuntu, and different versions of the MacOS I can't remember.
The Macs always crashed. There is actually a video that explains my few experiences with the mac very well. It adds emotion to my opinion here. http://video.google.com/ videoplay?docid=-6553260189868317794&q=Mac+sucks Explained perfectly by the guy in the video. |

Personally, I never played with MacOS. So I honstly had no idea that it crashed and what not. But I have had plently of problems with Win95 and 98(including SE, though not as many) where it crashes, bluescreens, or just freezes. The biggest problem I having right now with my PC is that the Source engine for some reason freezes my PC after a couple(5? and it's not straight either) hours, and I have no idea why.(This happends with nothing else but the Source engine from what other things I have played.)
