Noob who needs help

Hi I'm just starting and for a first game I want to make a platformer or something. I know some of the basics of DM but not alot. Is there a tutorial to learn how to make a platformer? If now how would i put gravity in(for jumping like in Mario duh)?

Yes there is a tutorial i thik there might be 3 not sure just use the search button.
