Download and Play your own Game

Hello, and I am windering how to make it so you can download and run your own game. I was thought that you have to like host it on a website and then uplink and blah blah blah!!!. Basicly it is confusing. Can anyone help me by maybe writing a step by step directions? Thanks.

Yes, you do need a website to host your game. Be careful though, some websites will delete your account with them if you use it solely to host files. Try looking for a file-hosting site (can't think of any off the top of my head though, but google it XD).

After that, go into Dream Maker, click Build --> Package Files and select host files. Blah blah blah, click next a few times and you've got your game's zip. Upload that file to your new site (remember it's address!)

Then, go on byond, click 'Create Games', then 'Publish Games' and select your game (if you have made a hub entry for it). Otherwise, make a new hub entry (just follow the instructions). Then, where it says "Download URL" paste your game's address into the slot.

And click submit! Hope that helps...

Make a free website, like freewebs. Then, you upload your file in the website( all websites have "upñload" links). Then, after its uploaded, you see the URL of it
http://www.freewebs.com/bamrulex/Mystic_Journey.cip

For example. Then.. you copy paste the URL in the correct BYOND bar and it's done! :D
