Luck plays all the roll in both of them, well luck and how long the player has been playing his/her character.

lol rock paper scissors. Similar to rock paper scissors when it comes down to melee combat... but it has 4 commands not just 3. Also the different commands can affect the enemy in different ways. like the speed attack Dazes the enemy, while the throw attack puts them off balance.

I would have to say the most fun part of MxO are; the massive PvP battles, busting some exile ass with some friends, and attending raves at local clubs(I've seen a good deal of Movie characters at these, but sadly not morpheus because he was assasinated...)

Bleh then again I've been busy lately and haven't been able to check up on what's going on with the game.

Wouldn't water beat everything else...after a while (water disolves paper/water erodes rock/water rusts scissors)

... well in this case I would consider water to be block.
In melee combat there are 5 commands (a 6th if you include changing combat styles). The attacks: Speed Attack, Strength Attack, and Throw Attack. Then there's also Block and Retreat(run away). Not really rock paper scissors, but after you get to know the combat, you'll realise it is similar.

Now. onto Dession's question. The community is actually very nice (except a select few). In the forums, there's almost no flaming at all unless the topic or post was really stupid. And in the game itself, there are lots of people that are willing to help newbies... not like there's much to get help on. The game's tutorial is VERY good, and thoroughly explains how to; fight (melee combat), use abilities, interact with NPC's and the world, and how to use your HUD...

But really... there's not much difference from MxO and other MMORPG's other than MxO's live events.

I played in the Beta thing..I had it installed for less than 24 hours, it was soo boring..I kept trying to get in the mood but once I logged on it just kilt it..

The Beta... well it was boring until the last day. Last day was interesting. There were eyes in the skies, agents popped up all over, and in the end everyone crumpled up into little
balls. O_o

Probably the lag that made it boring for you
