Hahaha!
None of the M rated games were made by Nintendo?
Well then, pray tell, how many *games* themselves were made by Sony?

None?

Yeah.

Don't forget, when you say Resident Evil you mean 0, 1, 2, 3 AND 4.

That's 5 games just there.

Halo 1 and 2 is nothing but eye candy, covering up for a horribly generic FPS. Ive played FPS on my pc from the early 1990s that have more gameplay and substance then Halo 1 and 2.

And 1 game, a system dosent make. I would never buy a system for ONE game. That would be a total waste of money.

Shades: "Yeah, I got the Xbox 360 for Halo 3. It only cost me $500.00 plus $49.99 for Halo 3."
Josh: "Cool, what other games do you have?"
Shades: "Uh I just said I had Halo 3, cha"
Josh "Its been 4 months and you only own one game?!"
Shades: "All I need is Halo 3, now excuse me while I go sniff some toxic markers."

Halo and Halo 2 are good for more than there graphics. They have amazing gameplay, especially playing on Xbox Live, the storyline is good and original, the weapon and creature designs are unique, the v/o's are very well done, and the soundtrack and ambience it creates are seconds to none, and the rest of the game is all around good.

Golden Eye 007 ALL THE WAY!
N64!!!
HOOOOZZZZAAAAAA
im definitely getting the 360 before the PS3. i haven't seen anything i truly want to get on the PS3. the Killzone 2 demo was good looking (i'm going with it was realtime because first time i saw the demo i know i saw a skin loading error on one of the marines which only happens on realtime cutscense and games).
some games i know im getting for the Xbox 360 are Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Gears of War, and Halo 3. But i'll probably still end up gettin the 360

P.s. whens the 360 coming out? i know the PS3 is due for next spring...

And besides... not many people buy a console for just one game, more like, multiple amounts of games.

For one, haven't you ever heard of a console seller. the first splinter cell game got a lot of people to buy the Xbox simply because it was an exclusive.

And Bungie is owned by Microsoft, so they already have the 360's hardware at their offices to work with.

Releasing Halo 3 on the day of the PS3's release is an ingenious strategy, and something that should be expected from Microsoft.

Halo 2 is way too overrated, I played multiplayer with 4 people for an hour and got kinda bored with dying every 5 seconds. I don't see online or single player being very different.

And why get a console for one game? Atleast say two. Throw in Fable 2 or another xbox game sequel.

i know that Eternal Darkness was produced by Nintendo and devoloped by Silicon Knights (devolopment team behind the Suffering). im not sure if nintendo had anything to do with its devolopment though. But it is a good game and play it if you ever get the chance

Never! Radar Ratrace for the Commodore VIC20 with it's endlessly mind-numbing highspeed rendition of 'three-blind-mice'! now *that* was entertainment!

Anything that has the word mouse or something related to it is fun to you, eh Digi? :p
In response to Ol' Yeller
actually, no. RR was out several decades (mid 80's) before i decided to use 'digitalmouse' as a company name.

I dont know where you get the amazing gameplay from. There is NOTHING new in Halo or Halo 2 that hasnt already been done in PC FPS games already before.

Unless you mean for the fact that, if you do it JUST right, you can shoot someone from one side of the map, all the way to the other side of the map, with a pistol.

How do I know? Because I played Halo and Ive done it already. A modded Xbox is used more then just playing crappy pirated games.

The story is pretty generic too, you could take alot of FPS games, sum them up, and itd be very close to the Halo idea.

My friend came over the day Halo 2 came out, since I rented it to see if it was any different, we played it for about 4 hours and decided it was the most mind numbing, worst pice of filth ever made.

The 5 games Ive enjoyed the Most out of the Xbox is KOTOR 1 and 2, Oddworld: Strangers Wrath , Burn Out 3 and Fable. Thats the only games I found enjoyable, and Ive played abotu every single one, since all i have to do is press one button and the games are copied to my Xbox's HD.

The only game to date, that Ive ever purchased is Doom 3, and I thought it was better then Halo 1 and 2 combined, and I still thought it was kind of crappy.

Or do it with the ps3, and have 44 teraflops.

it was the most mind numbing, worst pice of filth ever > made.

Come on. I've got three words for you: Barbie Horse Adventures.
I could add several other games to that list but i don't feel like thinking about them right now.

And about the PC FPS games thing. This is not a PC games (the first halo was but few people bought it for the PC), this is an Xbox game. Its the best FPS for the Xbox out there.

(insert quote about how Oddworld: Strangers Wrath is better.)
