Nah, wait till you can actually program. Then think of your self as a nerd. Bleh, im barely on BYOND, i've usally got Dream Maker open or im on Chatters. When I first started BYOND I thought how can did I miss out on this. Those are the days I'd be on for hours.

Well, if you claim your not a nerd why be so offensive about something this pointless...I check BYOND out occasionly..and yes Im working on a project..and if someone were to call me a nerd for that I wouldn't spaz out like that..

I can't remeber where I read it but I actually found an official definition by one of the dictionary companies relating to Geeks and Nerds.
Apparently the difference is in not what they do but how they do it. Nerd - Someone who chooses something and solely focuses on that thing (i.e. if you wake up, get on BYOND, then all of a sudden it's 4am and you go to sleep only to wake up and repeat, then it is quite possible you are a nerd of the BYOND variety). Geek - Someone who chooses somethign but instead of living it, takes an intense liking to it but still finds time to do other things (i.e. you wake up, jump on BYOND until say 4pm in the afternoon, then you go and hang out with your friends and talk about BYOND then it is possible you are BYOND geek). Hence I think you can't really label someone either of the two as unless you spend every second of every day around the person your accusing (hence making you in fact a nerd of the <insert persons name> variety), you can't really be sure that they are guilty.
