You people are just too fat and lazy to take care of something but getting the cheetos out of the kitchen.

You can't use IE alone, you have to actually take CARE of what you're using, you're computer. But you can use Firefox alone and not have to worry about spyware being secretly installed. |
I still mainly use IE because it loads(the progam itself, not the webpages) a few seconds faster than Firefox/Mozilla. If I'm feeling patient, I'll use Firefox.

but i mean changing images and the content of tables and other things when the client clicks something, or presses a key or something like that.

But whats wrong with actually having something to do with your computer? Don't you want to take care of it, fix specific problems, and figure things out? I don't know where peop[le suddenly got the idea that you shouldn't and don't need to spend time with your computer. I just think people that don't are lazy.

We're all human, OFD. What, moderators aren't supposed to have emotions and opinions now? Whoops. Guess I'd better get to writing that ForumModeratorBot. Then we can fire all the forum moderators and get on with the important things in life, like flaming the automated moderator script. =P

Not to "force" my opinion on you or anything... [/end pointless disclaimer that won't stop anyone from flaming me]
So what you're basically saying is, cure is better than prevention? |
But why fix what isn't broken? If I use firefox, I don't have to run spyware/adware checkers. Assuming you won't get any form of spyware just because you use firefox is like assuming you're impervious to any form of virus by using Linux :P. The losers that come up with this stuff will inevitably find other ways of getting information or annoying you in similiar ways. |
Yeah, I don't understand why any system war exists, they're just opinion, and probably topics people would rather Not have to talk about.

I have plenty of more interesting things I'd rather be doing on the computer, thanks very much.
You might as well say that you tip bags of dirt over your kitchen floor so that you have something to do (namely, sweeping up the dirt). What's the point? If you can avoid having to do something, why not do so? Then you have time for more worthwhile pursuits. |
I don't get why all the oldbies on the forum have been so sour the past month or two. It's definately noticable. Not me! I'm my chipper self. Of course, I've been playing GTA:SA most of the time. And playing games on the PC when not doing that. *cough* |

What visionaries! You've convinced me to stay with IE. :P I said a real update, meaning its core wich allows it to render code better and faster |
Once you have protection using software, you hardly ever have to do anything. Why even change? It just makes everything mess up anyway, with two browsers, you cn have mixed up registry paths and everything. It's just not worth downloding anything else, really.

Not really, and I would rather not have to scan for spyware as often than as much as I would with IE. And the extensions for FireFox make life easier.
And once again, I would rather download FireFox and see the internet properly. |
I have actully had problems viewing certian web pages with firefox because some are specially made to be viewed in IE or Netscape. Which is very annoying.
A number of trusty online virus scanners I use alot, will only allow me to use them in IE, which is a pain in the ass. Still, Im glad I have FireFox on my PC. |
You're still loading a new page. Javascript can be horribly abused, yes, but it's great for some things.
