I think we have already established it wasn't racism-based, it was just an attempt at reaching out to the minority community.

Its racism if they segregate based on race. So if they didn't allow caucasians then it would indeed be racist. However I can't find anything specifically stating that caucasians can't register and I don't know how they would check anyway since they allow payment forms over the internet so they'd never see you to be able to verify it. So its just a poor dialup ISP with unimpressive rates that gives of the appearance of racism.

Black people always talk about how being segregated is wrong and all, meanwhile, they make the channels BET, BSTARZ, ETC. and they have seperated themselves. Hm, now isn't that funny?

No, what is ironic is when they whine to people about something their ancestors did over a century ago while they are like that today. Not making us slaves or killing us (in most cases, at least, they don't), but still being racist. I have met many more racist blacks than whites.

Racism isn't just about promoting your own race.

They are making out as if the service is just for Black people, or ethinic minorities, and if you are White and sign up, they will reject you.

It's not racist.

They make no attempt to verify the ethnic identity of their customers, nor would they have to as they do not claim that their service is only for (in their words) people of color... it's just aimed at them.

Cosmopolitan and other women's magazines aren't inherently sexist, and neither are men's magazines like FHM (I think that's what it's called.) Individual articles viewpoints within them might be sexist... but the mere existence of a magazine marketed towards one sex isn't sexist. You can't make a product everybody likes, and so there's nothing wrong with targeting your product towards a large group of people that have need of it.

If a car maker designs a vehicle to appeal to rugged sportsmen, they're not discriminating against bookish intellectuals. A coffeeshop's existence isn't a slap in the face of people who don't like caffeine. So why do you say that an ISP aimed at members and appreciators of black cultures is racist?

Wrong, I have had black people hate me just because I am white.

It is a fact that the majority of people are no longer racist (and you would be hardpressed even to prove that most people were even in the 19th century, as it was not an age where everyone was racist as many would have you believe).

No, not all over the country; but I have been to a good portion of it. As I have pointed out in past posts, I have been to many places and met thousands of people. I have been out of my country and around around nearly half of mine. And it's not only my observation anyway, it's the observation of many of us who want and end to it on all sides.
