i looked at alot of demos and libraries for this and was wondering if someone can give me a push in the right direction. Like they have agility when it gets higher they dodge more, strength and defence and exp like with the more battles all those stuff raise a level. If anyone can give me sorta tip or something i would be very grateful

alrite then, ok wen you fight a enemy or another player, the person with the higher strength can hurt the other person more. So if i had like 5 strength and the other person had 30 health i would attack him for 10, maybe 2*Strength u would minus that from the health i think. But another factor would be defence maybe that divides the amount u take away from the health from the hp due to the strength by .05*defence. And the last thing i would want in there would be agility, which the more it is the better chance of them missing u. and if someone could tell me how 2 do a waundering mob thing, i looked at demos and libraries and i couldnt grasp the concept of it, thanks alot guyz

What you just described are formulas for calculating damage, not the important meat of the battle system that Garthor mentioned. The formulas don't matter nearly as much.

Pretend you don't even have formulas yet; what matters to this problem is the mechanics. What you essentially just asked, minus the formulas, is "How do I make a battle system?" Well there's no easy answer for that. The first step is to think about the details of how your system will be constructed. Formulas are the paint of this house, and you haven't even said what the architecture looks like. What Garthor asked you are the questions you need to answer. In fact, you need to ask them to yourself and come up with more new questions based on your answers. Lummox JR |

Please explain, in GREAT DETAIL, step by step, what would happen in your "battle system". Eg for an example shopkeeper:
When you walk up beside the shopkeeper, you get a new Buy verb. When you click that verb, you get a list of everything in the shopkeeper's contents that you can buy. Once you choose one, it tells you the price, and asks if you really want to buy it. If you don't, nothing happens. If you do, and have enough money, it takes away your money and gives you that item. If you don't have enough money, it tells you so. |

oh ok lol thats all i needed i didnt no how 2 explain it, well wen you walk up 2 a waundering enemy thing or another player you can use the attack verb, then the whole fourmulas come into play. Then when they are about to die you have the choice to kill them, or spare em. Then with the ki attacks you select a ki attack then u click "Ki attack" which would be right by attack and that does the equiped ki attack and the menu pops up for who 2 attack. Is this better to understand?

A LOT more specific.
If you can say exactly what you want, when you want things to happen, and what you want triggered by certain events, without referring to any other game that exists, then people will be able to help you.
