I think it's funny when people walk into a coffee shop and ream off fancy orders. Is it all for show? Here's one that I came up with. It makes no sense but if you say it quickly it sounds pretty funny:
"I want a double-tall espresso-cappuccino, low-fat, decaf, iced mocha-latte, with extra cinnamon, foam, and chocolate sprinkes......to go!"
I have yet to walk into a starbucks to pass this order along. Anyone else have fancy order for coffee or anything else?

It makes no sense but if you say it quickly it sounds pretty funny: The fanciest I've ordered is a triple venti vanilla soy latte. The problem with your order is that espresso, cappuccino, mocha, and latte are mutually exclusive, though some call a mocha "mocha-latte." The other problem is that the iced drinks don't have foam. |
Oh I know my order is just bullcrap, it's meant to be. Heh. But you actually ordered that drink you say. Wow. If you say it quickly it sounds pretty "trendy". Do you order that drink often?
-Dagolar Here's another one I came up with for Aspirin off a commercial. I added a few words to it: Aspirin. Doctor recommended for extensive exclusively supervised preventative daily pain-relief therapy. Absolute bullcrap...but funny. |

Do you order that drink often? No, because it's a $4.50 cup of coffee. Last time I ordered that, I had a coupon for "any free coffee drink" from Starbucks. I do often order a vanilla soy latte, though. Here's the breakdown on my "dream drink": triple: an extra shot, for when I need the boost venti: extra large, because more is better vanilla: nice sweet flavor soy: I prefer soy milk usually -- tastes better, and no cholesterol latte: because capuccinos have too much foam |
I had a venti french vanilla capuccino before from starbucks before I saw LotR:FotR for the first time. Biggest..mistake......EVER!

It wasnt about the money, it was a long anticipated movie and it was three hours long. I didnt want to miss ANY of it.

had to go to the bathroom? Paid $10 for the film and missed $1 worth? So if the USAF buys a billion-dollar bomber and every other rivet is missing and the thing can't make it to the end of the runway in one piece, they shouldn't be that upset, because they're still getting well over 99% of their value. |
That actually sounds like a real order. Good category to do this for though! Burgers. How about making one up that is totally bogus with a lot of words? I'll add it to my list. Heh...

Double Moca Freak-o'-Cheeno cut the foam extra sugar NO caffine a pinch of chocolate (just a pinch) hold the ice and one of those tiny little straws please.
LOL I don't really go into coffee shops so I just made all this stuff up. |
I want a Triple decker stacker with ONE slice of white american cheese(please pre heat it in toaster oven). Two pickles both perpendicular to each other and 4 OUNCES of ketchup and mustard no more no less. And I would like a liter (a single liter of) of Coke. NO not Pepsi, No not the store brand, Coke-a-cola. And two pieces of bacon both horizontal to the pickles(bacon should be low fat and be well done and extra crispy). Thats all.
I'm pretty good at this. I think I'll try this. lol |
I've always wanted to walk into a restaurant, sit down, and ask for water with a piece of meat in it. I wonder if they'd give it to me?
Or like say "I want the shrimp scampy, but can you stick it in a cup please?" |
You would definitely get a few funny looks from the waiter. Then I'd think they'd be talking to the people in the back. I don't know if they'd actually bring you it. Depends on the restaurant I guess.
