Well, unless I'm missing something, currently anyone can run up, input your hub entry (Dan.PipeStock) into their game, and have it show up. This sucks. I don't think it would be too cool of DB games started showing up as Hedgerow Hall. I request a hub authentication, somewhat like a password (like used with CheckPassport), that you enter into world/hub_entry = "3148394fder298f97f", that way only YOU have access to your hub entry.


I could just have missed something somewhere along the lines, who knows.

I think the existing system does that - you cannot edit your hub entries without your key and password...

Nope, this has come up often before--it's just that apparently it was never being abused until now.

Yes but you can use other peoples' hub entries for your own evil deeds.

Yeah. This has been planned for quite some time, but I agree that we need it pretty soon.

Not true! As soon as MLAAS became public, a here unnamed individual created a program that looked just like a MLAAS session, but always kicked a user because a beta test was underway. It didn't work too well, but a few people got in a huff.
