I read in a post on this forum that Goku and other dbz names could be used legally,which is very untrue

APPLICABLE LAW AND EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION
which means if they sue you,you have to take a little road trip...
On another note the Dragonball Z craze is coming to its end. Planetnamek.com closed down due to lack of interest. I also hear that new dbz games are coming out for PS2,GameCube,and the X-Box. Which means FUNimation or whoever has the gaming rights,will be making less money then they hoped for...

Don't worry about nandrew, he's not the smartest guy on the block (he just thinks he is ^_^).
General is the section for requests and features. It should be called 'Requests & Features' considering Bug Report is where you go to report bugs, and Code Problems is where you go when you have code problems, natrually peopel will tend to want to use General for... you guessed it... GENERAL posts... Ah well I guess I'm the only one who thinks this forum is named wrong :p They should change it to match their 7 other forums... Wait, they did say they were taking a break from BYOND to work on the site, maby this obvious annoyance will be solved after all ~_^ | |

PN shut down due to exactly the opposite... They were using too much bandwidth because they had too many visitors and they couldn't afford to pay their ever-increasing bills... (and it's not like the tens of thousands of daily visitors could have supported t hem through donations or whatnot...considering that most of their fans are kids with no access to credit cards or any other means of donating...lol) So the craze is far from ending... It will have an end someday (as all things must)...but not so soon... Take one look around BYOND and you'll have your proof that the craze is alive and well... | |
