Yeah I couldn't figure out a good way to show the curves with the small space so I just used the shading from my vizard masks

Oh I see what you mean but you know that this mask is not covering is face but it's his nose so the shading near the holes isn't needed

Well if you watch the anime or read the manga... you can planely see they are hidden under his mane until he opens one looks back at Hisagi and fires a cero from one...

By the way, Dream Maker icon-editor serves as an alternative to .gif -- or "Animator" -- creator.
You just File -> Save As... -> .gif |
Regarding that walk cycle:
Get up from the computer and stand in front of a mirror, and walk towards it. You'll immediatly notice that while one of your arms is forward, the leg on the same side as that arm will be back behind you, and vice versa on the other side. With that said, revise that walk to fit that and it will look alot more natural. Furthermore, when walking, you dont just swing your forearms, but your whole arm, including your shoulders. And rather than having the arm moving inward towards the body, it would look better if you made the arm come straight up (or atleast alot less inward looking). When in the process of taking a step, your body will move down. All in all, what you have here looks more like a marching hollow. Hope this crit helped. |
I would say it helped if you knew all the info for this particular piece, but no thanks right now.
I forgot to put that it's v4 of 8 i'm on 6(The arms if you notice I started at the top of the shoulder about 10 pixels down... 7 will be legs... and 8 will be enhanced shading after animation is complete) right now but I post them as they start to look better, but the bit about the mirror would be correct if I was going for normal walk. I'm really trying to get more of a dinosaur bent over rocking side to side walk. But it's nice to know someone is willing to offer help. Thx :D |
OPEN THE DOOR, GET ON THE FLOOR. EVERYBODY WALK THE DINOSAUR.
Pretty sure Dinosaurs don't walk like marching robots, they were living, breathing animals. Your piece would come out looking a lot better with more natural movement. On another note, why don't you post your most update to version of the sprite? Kind of hard to critique something when we don't even know of possible changes you've made. |
I posted the most updated that I've finished I don't just upload every five seconds of completion besides I'm still working on it. And yes I know how a dinosaur walks but remember I said LIKE. Dinos had their eyes on the side of their heads so they had to walk that way but this is with eyes in front.

Lol why does everyone think the same. I know there's things I forget to mention but I thought this was obvious, I mad it pillowed of my own accord and I know how everyone hates pillowing but i'm not everyone. Besides this pillowing is because of my light source I shaded it just as if it would be rendered 3d using specific materials settings. Lol art never got anywhere following... And I'm a leader.
|
Then I think instead of not informing everyone of your intentions, then you shouldn't be posting. Now you're just sounding like a pompous elitist with an arsenal of excuses. Pillowing is bad, either way you look at it, unless the lightsource is being pointed directly at you like a flashlight.
|
Lol dude I don't mean to come off that way, but I just assumed that if the whole animation has been started and the it's still pillow-shaded that everyone would realize that it was intended. Though you are like the first person to kinda notice the light source it's pointing diagnolly a few degrees but it isn't a strong one like the sun it's more of a florescent light. Sorry about not informing but I don't like putting details because then I get criticized about why would I choose to do it that way.

its sexy.. but... the mask shading is wrong?thats what i think o_o
