Sorry, but shouldnt all the black lines originate from the seal itself and not from the hands and toes?
yes but in this case.. theres no space to originate a curse mark location.. so i just made it so it starts from the bottom.
Perhaps you can add a cursed seal on the ground beneath his feet? That would make the lines rising from the feet seem more logical and tell the viewer that something supernatural is happening with the character.
Because... he's activating the curse and the energy involved makes a shiny ring below him? It doesn't need to be a permanent mark on the ground or anything, just a visual effect to show the viewer that he's doing something mystical and those black lines aren't a really bad case of athlete's foot.
You're forgetting that people will have clothes on eventually and curse mark doesn't go over them. You should make a glowing curse seal mark on the floor below the player come up while they transform, and then make it disappear when they are fully changed. This way players will know whats happening when someone uses the curse seal
What if you change the curse seal from black to orange and yellow. Then when it is done it could be black. If you had a luminous black oval that started out darker and faded out from the middle to the outward area, that would be cool too (dark purple is also a good option if you will be standing in pitch black areas)
